The 2025 Ford F-150 is a top option for truck buyers thanks to its robust capabilities and features. How does this truck compare to the 2025 RAM 1500?
Performance
Across the 2025 F-150’s trim levels, there are six powertrains available. The entry-level engine available in the lower trim levels is a 325-horsepower, turbo 2.7-liter V6 engine. The 5.0-liter, V8 engine generates 500 horsepower, while the turbo 3.5-liter, V6 engine gives you 400 horsepower. Available exclusively in the F-150 Raptor, the supercharged V8 offers 720 horsepower. A hybrid Powerboost turbo V6 is also available, and it gives you 430 horsepower.
The RAM 1500 is only available with three powertrains. The base option is a 305-horsepower, V6 unit. The turbo six-cylinder engine delivers 420 horsepower, and a high-powered variation of this engine produces 540 horsepower.
Appearance
The F-150 is strongly designed with a tall presence and a precision accent line running across the sides. The front end makes a powerful impression with a tall, wide grille. It is styled with horizontal crossbars and reaches to the sides to touch the rectangular LED headlights.
The RAM 1500 also has a tall stance, but its nose is more curved. The front windshield is also strongly tapered. The sides are almost smooth, while the hood is sculpted. The headlights have an irregular shape and shoot out horizontally from the grille.
Features
Across the Ford F-150’s trim levels, you have access to everything you need for comfort, entertainment, and functionality on the road. Its many features include household power outlets, a fold-down work surface, leather upholstery, heated and massaging front seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 14-speaker B&O sound system, a head-up display, and numerous additional features.
