2025 Ford Bronco Sport vs 2025 Jeep Compass
Serving Hudson, WI
The Ford Bronco Sport is touted as a smaller version of the capable Bronco. This small SUV introduced several updates in the 2025 model year, including to its styling, tech, and more. The 2025 Compass is part of the Jeep family, which is recognized for its utility and performance. How does the Bronco Sport compare to the Compass?
Performance
Most of the 2025 Bronco Sport trim levels have a turbo 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower. The Bronco Sport Badlands comes with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, and it gives you 250 horsepower. Every Bronco Sport has an eight-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive. Some trim levels also feature an off-road suspension system, trail control, rock crawl, seven drive modes, an upgraded differential, and more.
The Jeep Compass is available with one engine: a 200-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. All Compass crossovers also have an eight-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive. The Trailhawk trim level offers low-range gearing, an off-road-tuned suspension, and a rock-drive mode.
Appearance
The Bronco Sport is styled with a boxier, modern look. On the sides, you will find a small air vent near the front fender, thick body molding, and a pinstripe accent running across the doors. At the front, the Bronco name runs across the rectangular grille. The headlights show off a circular shape with an LED outline and an LED bar.
The Jeep Compass has gentle angles across the profile and a classic, rectangular grille. The squared-off headlights feature LED accents. The lightly defined fenders have sharp corners. The sides have an upper crease and a lower pinstripe for added character.
Features
Depending on the trim selected, the Bronco Sport is outfitted with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, active noise cancellation, a navigation system, a household power outlet, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a 180-degree camera, remote engine start, wireless charging, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch touch display screen, remote vehicle monitoring, wireless smartphone app connections and others.
The Compass’s standard features include an 8.4-inch touch display screen, wireless smartphone app connections, a six-speaker sound system, keyless ignition, and several safety features.
