What’s New for the 2025 Ford F-250?
The 2025 Ford F-250 makes a commanding statement on the road with its heavy-duty capabilities and strong design. The fourth generation of this full-size truck launched in 2023, and Ford has made several mid-generation changes for you to enjoy in 2025.
Across the exterior, you will find two new color options for the 2025 F-250, including Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Avalanche. On the exterior, Pro Power Onboard is available for the first time on the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels. In addition, the XL and XLT SRW are offered with an 8-foot truck bed for the first time. Other outer features that continue to be available are heated and power-adjusting side mirrors, off-road tires, off-road running boards, a power tailgate, and a few additional features.
Performance capabilities are also updated in 2025. Both the XLT and Lariat trim levels are now equipped with a V8, 6.8-liter, 405-horsepower engine. This connects to a 10-speed auto transmission. In addition, the King Ranch trim level is now offered with Smart Hitch. The F-250 XL is not available with the XL trim level. Towing capabilities are boosted with auxiliary cameras and trailer tire pressure monitoring. Other than these changes, the performance capabilities are unchanged. Some trims have a 430-horsepower, V8, 7.3-liter engine. A 475-horsepower, turbo-diesel 6.7-liter, V8 system and a high-output turbo-diesel, 500-horsepower engine.
If you select the F-250 Platinum, your truck is offered with Black Onyx coloring on the interior as well as Platinum Blue trim. The Platinum Plus package is available with new color options, exclusive leather upholstery, and chrome trim. The other features offered in the F-250 are unchanged on a trim-by-trim basis. Some of these are a two-panel sunroof, carbon-fiber trim, lane centering, a head-up display, a B&O sound system with 14 speakers, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, forward collision mitigation, front parking sensors, household power outlets, a push-button starter, driver’s memory settings, heated front and rear seats, and more.
