What’s New for the 2024 Ford F-150?
The 2024 Ford F-150 is a mid-generation model that is packed with updates. This popular, full-size truck benefits from improvements to its exterior design and features along with its performance and features.
On the exterior, the 2024 F-150 introduces a new grille design with a molded, extra-wide mesh pattern. A double-bar LED element with an amber hue stretches across the grille. A similar element divides the tall headlamps. The bumper is sleek and molded, and it holds small, piercing fog lights. The wheel designs and Pro Access tailgate are also new for the 2024 model year.
If you opt for the F-150 Tremor, your truck will come with orange accents on the grille and a unique bumper. The Tremor is also now available with an accessory light bar and a front-mounted winch as options for the first time.
In addition to these updates, the 2024 F-150 eliminates the V6 base engine. It is replaced by a 325-horsepower, turbo 2.7-liter, V6 engine. In addition, the diesel powertrain is no longer available. Both the hybrid V6, 430-horsepower system and the 400-horsepower, V8, 5.0-liter engine continue to be available. The Raptor trim level comes with a turbo 3.5-liter, V6, 450-horsepower unit. The Raptor R is equipped with a supercharged 5.2-liter, V8, 720-horsepower engine.
From behind the wheel, you can enjoy a few new features. For example, the hands-free Blue Cruise driving function is now optional. The 12-inch touch display screen that was optional in 2023 is now standard for all trim levels. Other new options are an anti-theft system and a head-up display screen.
The many other features that are standard or available with the F-150 include household-style outlets, a fold-down work surface in the center console, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a two-panel moonroof, massaging front seats, heated seats for both rows, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a dual-zone auto climate control system, a digital instrument panel, lane keeping assistance, forward collision avoidance, rear auto braking, lane centering, leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera and other features.
