Performance

The Bronco Sport has two available powertrains. Most trim levels feature a 181-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine. The Bronco Sport Badlands comes with a 250-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. These engines are both accompanied by standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Some trims add a suspension lift, an upgraded cooling fan, trailer control, and a twin-clutch rear differential.

The Bronco’s entry-level powertrain is a 300-horsepower, turbo 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine. It is available with your choice of a 10-speed auto or seven-speed manual transmission. A 330-horsepower, turbo 2.7-liter, V6 engine and a 418-horsepower, turbo 3.0-liter, V6 engine are also available. Select trims have Bilstein dampers, an upgraded suspension, a heavy-duty rear axle, a lifted suspension, an electronically locking differential at the front and rear, and other mechanical upgrades.

Appearance

The 2025 Bronco Sport has a small stature with a boxy shape. Its sides are designed with pinstripe accents and thick body molding. The molding extends across both the front and rear bumpers. The rectangular, wraparound grille holds circular LED headlights. Exterior features available with the Bronco Sport are all-terrain tires, skid plates, a tow package, tow hooks, roof rails, and more.

The Bronco also has a squared-off design. It displays smooth sides, flared fenders, and a large grille that covers most of the front end. The Bronco name is emblazoned across the grille. Like the Bronco Sport, the Bronco has circular LED headlights. Its exterior features are a hardtop or soft top, a full-size spare tire, all-terrain tires, side-step rails, skid plates, special graphics, rock rails, heavy-duty bumpers, and more.
